How To Enable Password Protection
If you are using Unified Remote on a shared network then you might want to enable password protection to restrict who can access your computer.

Open the web manager on your computer using the notification icon or in your browser http://localhost:9510/web.

Open the "Settings" page.

Click the "Security" tab.

Select either to use a single password, or configure individual user accounts.

Click save and the server should restart.

If you receive an "Authentication Failed" error in the app, then you should re-add your saved server in the app and enter the password when prompted.
