Adding a remote for Unified TV takes a bit of time because we handcraft each remote to make sure it works really well. Therefore, when requesting a remote we need as much information about the device as possible. This guide will tell you one way to help us find the correct IR codes for your device.

First open the Quick Actions editor

Then click the "Edit" button

Click on any of the buttons in the quick action

Click on "Change Action"

Select "Device Action"

Select "IR"

Select "Lookup"

Find the brand for the device you like to control and click on it

Select the type of device you like to control

You will now see a number of code sets. This is where you can help us. By going thru and find a code set that works for your device. This is how you do it. Click on one of the code sets.

Select one of the buttons and press the test button. If it work test a few other buttons. If it doesn't work go back to set 10 and try the next.

When you have found the code set that works write a post in this thread http://community.unifiedremote.com/topic/214/unified-tv-early-access with the brand, type and code set number that worked.
