How To Completely Shut Down the Server on Windows

Occasionally, you might be unable to uninstall the server because it is "still running". This tutorial details how to completely shut it down on Windows.

1

First of all, invoke the key-combo "CTRL+Shift+Escape". This will bring up the Task Manager.

2

Secondly, you will want some more detail from the Task Manager. Expand the Task Manager by selecting "More details" in the bottom left.

3

Once you have the detailed view open, you will want to find the Unified Remote process in the list.

4

Once you locate the process, simply select "End task" in the bottom right hand corner.

5

The server has now been completely shut down, and you should be able to continue with your uninstall / update.
